Little angel you've traveled far
Now it's time to rest your wings,
For God has called you from my arms
To heaven where his angels sing.
Your time with me wasn't for long
But you touched me in my heart,

I wish you were here in my arms
Little angel I miss you so much,
I wish I could see your sweet face
Wish I could feel your tender touch.
I wish I could hear your voice
preciously calling out my name,
My angel without you here by me
My life will never be the same.
I know you are happy with God

As I played little piggy on your toe,

The angels gathered around the throne..
their special day was here..
the precious child was coming home...
her arrival was so near...
But on the earth, her mother cried...
her baby was soon to go..
Andi knew this day would come..
but she loved her daughter so...
The mothers heart was breaking...
so hard to say goodbye...
She touched her hair, and kissed her nose...
And she began to cry...
In heaven, Angels could hardly wait...
Mila was on her way...
The most beautiful of Angels..
Was coming home today...
She had left the heavens for Andi...
to show her love so deep...
To bring her joy and laughter...
and sweet memories to keep...
Her body rests in slumber sweet...
but her soul has taken flight...
She soars above the heavens...
like a shining star at night...
The angels sing around the throne..
a anthem full of love...
for this precious little angel...
now living with them above.
Andi felt the sorrow..
and she cried the tears...
But her angel stays beside her...
calming all her fears...
She hears Mila, in the morning...
when the birds sing their lovley song...
She sees her in the evening...
when the shadows are growing long...
She knows she is beside her...
when she feels the summer breeze..
she hears her whisper in her ear...
when she prays upon her knees...
Mila lives in heaven...
but she is never far from earth..
For she was her momma's angel..
Way before her birth...
This precious child has earned her wings...
she sings, and laughs, and plays...
She will be waiting for you, Andi...
When you finish all your days...
Until then shes right there with you...
every step along the way...
from morning until morning...
and in your heart you hear her say...
I am happy here in heaven..
And I love you so very much...
When the sun warms you gently...
you will feel my loving touch...
